Stopping IMS 15.1

Issue /BROADCAST ACTIVE as much in advance of termination as possible. If you have users on the system and you wish to notify that IMS is coming down use:

##,/BRO ACTIVE 'TERMINATING'. (the period is required)

**NOTE If your entering the commands from the SDSF log you will need to put a "/" in front of the commands. ## should be the number associated to the IMS outstanding reply.

There are several ways to stop IMS:

##,/CHE SNAPQ

##,/CHE FREEZE
