Linux Test Drive Program
The process to obtain access to the Linux Test Drive Program is outlined in detail on this page. In summary, members of IBM PartnerWorld will complete a Linux Test Drive Program for IBM z Systems request form. The form will be reviewed to insure all the necessary information is complete. You will receive a return email at the email address included in the request form. The return email will request additional information, if any parts of the Linux Test Drive Program request are incomplete. Once all the information in the Linux Test Drive Program request form is complete, you will receive a return email with information regarding your Linux on z Systems instance.
Remember: The Linux Test Drive Program for IBM z Systems is only open to IBM PartnerWorld members.
The Process
The Linux Test Drive Program for IBM z Systems is open only to members of IBM PartnerWorld. If you are already a PartnerWorld member you will need your PartnerWorld member number to complete the Linux Test Drive Program request. If you are not a member of PartnerWorld, please enroll. As an IBM PartnerWorld member, please review the enrollment materials for the Linux Test Drive Program for IBM z Systems. Once you complete your review at the PartnerWorld web site, follow the links, first "Apply for..." and then "I Agree" to reach the Linux Test Drive Program request form. Enroll in PartnerWorld
Once you complete all the information in the Linux Test Drive Program request form, please click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. This will send your request to the IBM Linux Test Drive Program team. If you have provided all the necessary information, you will receive a return email providing you with information so you can begin to use your Linux on z Systems instance provided through the Linux Test Drive Program.
